The Flötenhof e.V. is an association of public utility, which was registered in August 1984. Its sole and direct object is promotion of musical art and culture of all kinds, especially the cultivation and promotion of period instruments and Early Music
In particular the musical seminars and the unique concerts that have been taken place on a regular basis have gained a steadily increasing interest. This has resulted in the Flötenhof e.V. being well known and highly popular even outside the regional and state borders. For already quit some time it is considered as an exemplary Centre for Early Music in professional circles. The ensemble Camerata Flötenhof, founded in 1996, gives concerts to support among others the Flötenhof e.V.. Also in the future the Flötenhof e.V. would like to continue to carry out instrumental courses for e.g. recorder, transverse flute, harpsichord, baroque violin, lute and other baroque and renaissance instruments at high level with famous teachers, as well as ensemble and instrument building courses!. Moreover, the Flötenhof e.V. aims at presenting the diversity of Early Music with unique concerts in a great variety of formations. In order to be able to continue and to even increase the offer, the Flötenhof e.V. is dependent on many-sided energetic assistance but also on financial support. You can support the Flötenhof e.V. by becoming a member, attending concerts and other activities as well as by donations and oral publicity.
